We are pleased to see Thompsons of Prudhoe and Ashcourt Group wagons supporting the works on the new £70m Framwellgate School development in Durham, being delivered by BAM Construction.

The project will see the construction of a new three-storey, U-shaped building designed by Ryder Architecture, creating a central courtyard and modern teaching facilities. The new school is scheduled to welcome pupils from September 2027, with the full project completing in 2028.

We have supplied 6F5 materials from our Bishop Middleham Quarry, working closely with the site team over the past few weeks to ensure deliveries meet programme requirements. Around 14,000 tonnes of material have been delivered so far using a combination of 8-wheel tippers and artic vehicles.
