As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, we recently delivered two loads of quality topsoil to a local rugby club to help with the regeneration of their grass pitch. The topsoil was supplied free of charge as part of our wider CSR work, helping the club improve its playing surface and create the right foundation for healthy grass growth. On rugby pitches, topsoil provides a natural growing medium for the grass, supporting stronger root development, better recovery from wear, and the long-term health and performance of the pitch. Grassroots sports clubs play an important role in bringing communities together. They provide a place for young people to train, compete and develop, while also creating a strong sense of local pride for players, families, volunteers and supporters. By helping improve the pitch, we are pleased to support the club’s ongoing efforts to maintain a safe, reliable and high-quality playing environment. As part of the partnership, the club will be displaying an Ashcourt banner at the pitch, giving us a visible presence within the community while reinforcing our commitment to supporting local initiatives in a practical and meaningful way. At Ashcourt, our CSR work is about more than words. We believe in using our resources, materials and expertise to make a positive impact where it matters. Whether that means supporting grassroots sport, helping community groups, or contributing to local improvement projects, we are proud to play our part. This delivery is a small but valuable example of how the right material, supplied at the right time, can make a real difference. We look forward to continuing our support for local organisations and community projects wherever we can.
