This week we were welcomed by Wilberforce College to attend their Green Energy and Logistics open day. It was a great success and amazing to see so many students keen to gain an insight into our Fuels and Logistic divisions.

The event consisted of two sessions featuring a presentation, guest speakers from our Fuel and Logistics teams and some of our on the job videos.

We were also in the Atrium room based in the heart of the college where the students could learn about apprenticeships and about the wide range of career paths we can provide within the group.

Ashcourt Fuels & Sustainability

Our Fuels division is one of the fasting growing divisions within the Ashcourt group. Ashcourt Fuels was originally set up to service the Group's vehicles, as relying on external companies caused delays and wasted time. On a daily basis a 33 litre tank collects fuel from the refinery, sometimes two collections are done in one day during busy periods. We now service companies across the UK with a range of products.

Our fuels team were at Wilberforce College talking about our new Green D+ sustainable fuel. It's in the best interest of large corporate companies to reduce their CO2 emissions and our GreenD+ HVO fuel provides just this by cutting CO2 emissions by up to 90%. Our GreenD+ HVO fuel is an eco-friendly, premium diesel fuel made from only renewable and sustainable materials.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Wilberforce College and loved meeting all the students.
