Highways Division Gains New Certification

Our Highways division have now secured a new certification which extends the scope of our current ISO9001:2015 accreditation from being in accordance with National Highway Sector Scheme 12D, to also include NHSS 7 & 16.

We have had the Traffic Management accreditation for 4 years and we are now pleased to have obtained another two accreditations to add to our ever-growing certification base.

The ISO 9001 certification is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

National Highways Sector Schemes (NHSS) are bespoke integrated quality management systems for organisations working on the UK road network. They use the current ISO 9001 as the basic standard, and additionally provide specific requirements and interpretation for a particular industry. The schemes aim to make sure that work is carried out to the highest standards of professionalism, using properly trained staff. They also place a strong emphasis on health and safety.
