Ashcourt Celebrating International Women's Day

his week, Ashcourt are supporting International Women's Day by focusing on all the fantastic work that women are doing for the business.

The Group employs women in a range of roles across all 12 divisions and are celebrating that this week with spotlights on just some of the women we employ.

Introducing Kealey- Grab Operator/Driver - "Being a busy Grab operator/driver often means that no two days are the same, I love every aspect of my job and wouldn't have it any other way."

Introducing Imogen- Accommodation Supervisor - "I started at the Ashcourt Group at age 16 working as an Accommodation Assistant, five years later I am now the Accommodation Supervisor and responsible for the accommodation experience of over 400 students."

Introducing Jane- Civil Engineering & Construction Buyer - "My role as a buyer for our busy Civil Engineering division involves communicating with many suppliers on a daily basis, I have found the job to be very rewarding and its great to work as part of a wider team."

Introducing Emily- Operations Director - "I began working for the Ashcourt Group back in 2012 and my current position is now Operations Director. I have seen the company grow immensely over the 9 past years. Whilst employed I have also been able to work towards an Executive MBA which I am currently studying at the University of Sheffield."

Introducing Beth- Field Sales Executive - "I spend most of my time on building sites, talking to site managers and business owners, I really enjoy the interaction on site and how varied each day can be."

Introducing Charmaine- Concrete Sales Assistant - "Throughout my time at Ashcourt I have gained invaluable knowledge of the various concrete products we offer and can now confidently advise customers on whatever their requirements may be."
