Ashcourt Group Announce Pocklington Wash Plant 'Now Open'

The Ashcourt Group are pleased to announce the opening of our new CDE wash plant at our site in Pocklington. The state-of-the-art plant is capable of recycling spoil and subsoil, washing it, and screening the aggregate into different sizes and products. This makes it a significant asset to the company's aggregate production and delivery operations.

The investment in the plant meets the growing demand for sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in the construction industry. It employs a unique process that ensures the effective separation of aggregates, sand and clay from the source material which can then be used in a wide range of construction applications.

Commenting on the new facility, Ashcourt Group's Aggregates Director, Reginald Port, said, "We are delighted with the new wash plant, it’s a significant investment for the Group. The plant will enable us to recycle waste material and produce high-quality aggregates that meet the rigorous standards set by the industry. We are committed to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint and this plant is a testament to that commitment."

“Businesses that choose Ashcourt to remove their waste spoil materials, will now have the knowledge that those materials will be recycled and re-used by other businesses as a valuable product.” Reginald added.

The CDE plant is expected to increase Ashcourt's capacity to produce recycled aggregates significantly. We are now better positioned to meet the growing demand for environmentally friendly construction practices, contributing to the development of a more sustainable future, vastly reducing the need for quarrying practices.

With the opening of the new wash plant, Ashcourt Group reinforces its position as a leading provider of building materials in the area and continue to stay committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
