It is through this experience we identified the need for an efficient, reliable, independent concrete supplier to focus not just on the quality of products but also the service that comes with it. In 2016, Ashcourt Concrete was formed, and we are now the largest independent concrete supplier in Yorkshire and can accommodate any amounts required from 0.5m to large 400m pours. We now operate five plants including state-of-the-art Liebherr concrete production facilities in Hull, Pocklington, Melton, Newton Aycliffe and Grimsby.

Our concrete plants allow for our customers to collect their concrete directly from the plants with ease and speed. Our plants are equipped with state-of-the-art microwave moisture sensors to closely monitor water content in the sand and gravels to ensure the accurate level of water addition required. This goes above and beyond the level of any traditional concrete plant and additional slump monitoring devices have been installed inside the mixers to ensure the desired slump / flow and workability are achieved for the specification required before releasing the concrete into the mixer vehicle.
