Our team recently paid a visit to Warter Primary School where our Group Transport Director, Ian Carmichael held a HGV safety presentation for the children, teaching them about road safety and the importance of vehicle checks to avoid breakdowns. 

The children were then given their very own Ashcourt hi-vis vests as they proceeded to make their way over to our Scania tipper wagon. We gave them a demonstration of the body tipping then separated them into where the HGV blind spots are, each taking turns to sit in the wagon and see for themselves the restricted views when driving.

Excited and enthusiastic to get involved, the children asked multiple questions and provided great answers, deeming our visit a success.
