History Timeline
- 1996
Ashcourt Properties Limited established as a Student Accommodation Provider in Hull owning and managing 40 student rooms.
2009 -
Ashcourt Contracts Limited incorporated to build new student village on the former sailor's family society site on Newland Homes, Cottingham Road, to house over 400 students. Once completed, this increased Ashcourt's share in the student market to over 1,200 rooms in Hull.
- 2010
Ashcourt's construction division starts working for external contractors.
2011 -
Ashcourt acquires 100% of the share capital of Simpson Quarries Limited and re opens the dormant Middleton on the Wolds Quarry.
- 2012
First 3 new Volvo Tipper Wagons are purchased enabling Ashcourt to start merchanting aggregates externally.
2014 -
Due to significant expansion of the aggregate sales business, Ashcourt acquire Partridge Hall Quarry in Burnby, extending the companies mineral reserves to over 2 million tonnes.
- 2015
Ashcourt purchase the operating centre of business of Robin Concrete & Waste Disposal and launch Ashcourt Concrete.
2016 August -
Ashcourt's construction division complete 200 bed Student Accommodation Development in Durham sold to London based investment fund Curlew Capital.
- 2016 September
Ashcourt's HGV fleet exceeds 50 vehicles for the first time.
2016 December -
Ashcourt commission new Leibherr Betomix 2.66m3 twin shaft wet batch plant capable of producing 110m3 per hour of compacted concrete with silo capacity of 400 tonne and aggregate capacity of 650 tonne. Thus making Ashcourt concrete plant one of the largest and most technically advanced concrete production facilities in Yorkshire.
- 2017 January
Ashcourt launch its residential housing division, Ashcourt Homes, building unique homes in bespoke locations throughout Yorkshire.
2017 May -
Ashcourt take delivery of a flagship Volvo FH16-750 6x4 heavy haulage tractor unit and a 500hp Volvo FH 8x4 Tridem.
- 2017 June
Ashcourt launches their Highways division.
2017 July -
Ashcourt purchase East Coast Construction (NE) Limited to expand the existing Civil Engineering division.
- 2017 August
Ashcourt's construction division complete 237 bed Leeds City Centre student development for client BlackRock.
2018 January -
Ashcourt launch their Property Management Software innovation - Student Swipe.

Ashcourt purchase local building and civil engineering company, Sangwin Limited.
2019 January -
Planning permission granted for new company HQ in Pocklington.
- 2019 March
Ashcourt launch crane hire division.
2019 November -
Ashcourt Concrete expands and opens its second Leibherr Concrete plant.
- 2020 July
Ashcourt start delivering fuels to external clients.
2020 October -
Ashcourt construction complete ASDA superstore build.

Final home sold on Ashcourt Homes' Award Winning Development, Mansion Gates.
2021 May -
Ashcourt complete 12 week build of a new Rehabilitation Facility at Castle Hill Hospital.
- 2021 May
Ashcourt launch new Demolition Division.
2022 June -
Ashcourt batch and deliver almost 900m3 of C40/50 concrete mix for principal contractor, Spencer Group's landmark storage silo built for Damac Group on Hull Dock.
- 2022 July
Ashcourt take delivery of the first of two brand new Volvo EC550EL excavators, the first one to be assembled in the UK.
2023 Jan -
Ashcourt invest in brand new Liebherr Concrete plant in Melton expanding concrete capabilities.
- 2023 June
Ashcourt purchases John Wade Group, expanding serviceable areas to the North East of England.
