Our concrete team in Hull were hard at work on a low-carbon energy centre project, having previously carried out a muck away operation on the site in August. We have now returned to continue our support, working with a different contractor, UK Landcare.

The team supplied 274m3 of C32/40 powerfloat mix (S4) to achieve a powerfloat finish across the slab.

The 11m building will house water source heat pumps, a transformer and a boiler room, along with space for educational visits. A 23m blue tower will also form part of the build. Once complete, the energy centre will provide the city with hot water using low-carbon methods.
