As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Ashcourt Group’s West Yorkshire team was pleased to support Carrwood Primary School in Bradford with the donation of a full load of Red Fill Sand.
Supplied from our Mill Balk Quarry in Great Heck, the material will be used to enhance the school’s outdoor play area, helping to create an engaging environment where pupils can learn, explore and enjoy outdoor play. Outdoor spaces play an important role in children’s development, providing opportunities for imaginative play, physical activity and learning beyond the classroom. We are delighted that material supplied by our team will contribute to a facility that can be enjoyed by pupils for years to come.
Supporting schools, community groups and local organisations forms an important part of Ashcourt Group’s wider commitment to corporate social responsibility and social value. Wherever possible, we aim to use our resources, materials and expertise to support practical initiatives that deliver meaningful and lasting benefits.
With operational sites and teams working across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas, we recognise the importance of maintaining strong relationships with the communities in which we operate. Donations such as this are one of the ways we can give something back and support projects that make a genuine difference to local people. We are proud to have supported Carrwood Primary School and look forward to seeing the completed outdoor play area enjoyed by its pupils.
