Ashcourt Group was pleased to host a Ladies Day at the races, bringing together a valued group of customers, partners and industry contacts from across the construction sector for an enjoyable afternoon of hospitality and networking.
The event provided an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day demands of the industry and spend time building relationships in a relaxed setting, with guests enjoying an afternoon of racing alongside food, refreshments and good company. Creating opportunities to strengthen relationships with customers and industry partners remains an important part of the way Ashcourt Group works. Events such as this allow us to connect with those we work with outside of the usual project and commercial environment, while continuing to develop the strong, long-term relationships that are central to our business.
It was particularly positive to welcome so many women from across the construction industry and to recognise the increasingly significant role women continue to play across the sector. From operational and commercial roles through to marketing, sustainability, procurement, management and leadership, women are making an important contribution across every area of the industry. The construction sector continues to evolve, and greater diversity across the workforce is an important part of that progress. Bringing together professionals from a wide range of organisations and roles provided a valuable opportunity for guests to connect, share experiences and build new relationships with others working across the industry.
The day also reflected Ashcourt Group’s ongoing commitment to maintaining close relationships with our customers and partners. While our day-to-day focus remains on delivering high-quality products and services across our operations, we also recognise the importance of creating opportunities to engage with customers beyond individual projects and contracts.
